Graduation Weekend | 8:00PM SEATING

Celebrate UVA Graduation Weekend with a dinner at The Birdcage, our outdoor dining space adjacent to Mockingbird in the Belmont neighborhood. This experience is designed for families and groups who want great food, plenty of space, and a festive evening without the stress of traditional restaurant reservations.

This is a ticketed, all-inclusive dinner experience, not standard restaurant seating.

Each ticket includes:

• Access to a hosted buffet dinner on The Birdcage
• A curated graduation weekend menu by The Local Catering
• Family-style desserts served to the table
• Dedicated event staff, buffet setup, and full service dining throughout the evening

Ticket price reflects food, service, gratuity, and event production.
Beverages are additional.

Guests will enjoy a generous buffet featuring:

Entrées

• Red wine–braised local beef short ribs with pearl onions and carrots
• Virginia chicken with honey and rosemary glaze
• Seasonal squash stuffed with quinoa, dried cherries, almonds, goat cheese, and tomato sauce
• Seasonal vegetable pasta in a white wine cream sauce

Sides & Salads

• The Local Seasonal Salad with Virginia Vinegar Works vinaigrette
• Classic Caesar salad
• Roasted fingerling potatoes with garlic and herbs
• Green beans with garlic and olive oil

Dessert (Family-Style)

• Lemon bars
• Brownies
• Assorted cookies

Menu details are subject to seasonal adjustments but will follow this structure

• Wine service available for purchase (2 glasses for $25)
• Optional bottle of bubbly available per table for celebrations, additional wine will also be available.

Beverages are not included in the ticket price and will be offered on-site.

• This ticket is valid for the full dinner window listed on Eventbrite
• Each party will be seated at their own dedicated table. If you’d like to be seated near or with other friends or family members who have also purchased tickets, please email us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate those requests.

• Tickets are per person and required for all guests
• This is a non-refundable event after April 15th due to advance staffing and food commitments
• This experience takes place outdoors on The Birdcage (weather-appropriate accommodations will be in place as needed)
• Our events team will reach out to all ticket holders closer to the event to collect dietary restrictions and seating requests.
